🌿 Meet the Founder

True freedom comes from reclaiming our power as sovereign beings. As a clinical herbalist, mother, community member, and lifelong learner, TulsiMama’s goal is to help others step into their own power and take leadership over their health. She is passionate about providing education on holistic health and natural remedies, empowering people to regain confidence in their autonomy and become active participants in their own well-being.

TulsiMama is dedicated to educating, guiding, and providing resources for those who seek to nurture their mind, body, and soul. Our mission is to help individuals reconnect with the traditional ways of living—before the age of modern technology, pharmaceuticals, and allopathic medicine—by embracing natural approaches and creating comprehensive practices to wellness.

Peace is a broad and profound concept, offering us countless ways to experience it. Whether through dance, music, meditation, movement, or the simple joy of gazing into a newborn’s eyes for the first time, peace reveals itself in many forms. On a physiological level, our bodies regulate peace through the miracle of homeostasisa process that keeps our internal environment balanced, even as the world around us shifts.

The heart behind TulsiMama is a devoted mother, clinical herbalist, and lifelong student of nature’s medicine. Her passion for holistic wellness began early, thanks to a mother who approached food and health with intention, creativity, and reverence—even in the face of financial hardship.

“I didn’t realize it then,” she shares, “but she was slowly shaping my relationship with food.” From making nourishing meals on a tight budget to finding joy in flavor without relying on sugar, her childhood laid the foundation for an adult passion: understanding where food comes from, how herbs and spices pair with purpose, and how to satisfy cravings without compromising health.

These early experiences taught her that healthy eating isn’t reserved for the privileged—it’s a birthright. And with a little creativity, nourishment is always within reach. That truth still fuels her mission: to show others that healing food, even in its simplest forms, can be deeply accessible and wildly empowering.

In her early twenties, subtle but persistent health symptoms began to surface—fatigue, brain fog, aching joints, and a quiet dependency on caffeine. The kind of discomforts that are easy to dismiss until they slowly dull your spark. These whispers from the body awakened her to a truth: each decision made throughout the day—what we eat, how we breathe, how we sleep, how we connect—either nurtures vitality or drains it.

This growing awareness became the seed of what she now calls the 7 Pillars of Health: Movement, Hydration, Breath, Sleep, Nutrition, Community, and Sunlight. These pillars became her daily rhythm—guiding her toward a state of true balance—and now serve as the framework she offers to others.

Her path deepened when she met a kindred spirit whose journey into massage therapy and holistic living mirrored her own. Through this connection, she discovered a clinical herbalism school that felt like a divine invitation. Though studying music at the time, she knew in her bones that this was the way forward—a calling to help people return to themselves through the language of plants.

Around the same time, one plant in particular began calling to her more strongly than the rest.

Tulsi—also known as Holy Basil—had made appearances throughout her life, especially during seasons of emotional heaviness. But it was in this chapter of transformation that her relationship with the plant deepened. What began as a calming cup of tea became a sacred ritual. Tulsi felt like an old friend. A protector. A portal. Its presence reminded her that clarity, resilience, and grace were always within reach—even in chaos. Over time, she felt the medicine of Tulsi not only in her body, but in her identity.

To embody TulsiMama is to walk in service to that sacred energy. To mother others through moments of disconnection, and gently guide them back to home.

This mission took on even deeper meaning when she became a mother herself. It was motherhood that anchored everything she had learned—and expanded it. Suddenly, intuition wasn’t just a tool, it was essential. Supporting her child through herbal medicine and the 7 Pillars became a daily, embodied practice. She stopped outsourcing her wisdom to external systems and started trusting what her own heart and body knew.

This return to self didn’t just strengthen her connection to her child—it transformed the way she moved through the world.

Today, TulsiMama is more than a name. It’s a sanctuary. A place for caretakers, mothers, and curious seekers to reconnect with nature’s rhythm. A home for those longing for grounded guidance in a noisy world. A reminder that healing is not something we chase—it’s something we remember.

Whether through a tincture, a conversation, a class, or a breath under the sun, TulsiMama offers nourishment for the body, mind, and soul. Rooted in ancient plant wisdom and lived experience, her mission is to help others return to balance—gently, intentionally, and always with love.
